DubaiEventsBlog is a spin-off of DubaiBlog an information portal about Dubai, UAE and the Middle East in general. Opened in 2007 with a different name by Nicola de Corato, the portal got the current name in 2009; Nico is still the current owner both of the network DubaiBlog, and he is also involved in promoting international trading and relationships, supporting Italian, European and local entrepreneurs with social & web communication strategies.
Graduated in Telecommunication engineering with a Master Thesis about telemetry in motorsport competition, in 2004, Nicola de Corato lands in Dubai for the first time in the same year, as person in charge for the timing system of the World Powerboat Championship Class 1. In 2007 he starts his freelance activity as business consultant for the Italian companies willing to approach the Emirati market and opens a first website about Dubai. In 2009 he changes that website in DubaiBlog. After that he opens also other portals (www.tobetravelagent.com, www.dubayblog.com, www.dubayjobs.com, www.dubayeventsblog.com and many others, becoming WordPress specialist) creating a network of websites & social pages, he currently manages

Graduated in Economics and Business in 2003 at the University of Catania, Simona Briggiotta has a strong commercial experience since 2010 and she a freelance event manager. Landed in Dubai, she continued this activity, also joining DubaiBlog as freelance blogger. In 2013 she cofounded www.dubayeventsblog.com and she’s currently in charge for it.
