Emirati Arabi Uniti @ Biennale di Venezia Mancano poche settimane all'inaugurazione della 57esima Biennale d'Arte di Venezia. Gli Emirati Arabi Uniti sono alla loro quinta partecipazione (la prima nel 2009), e saranno presenti all'interno dell'Arsenale con una mostra curata da Hammad Nasar: Rock, Paper, Scissors: Positions in Play. La mostra esplorerà, così come il titolo suggerisce, la pratica artistica negli UAE attraverso l'analogia con il gioco. Saranno presentate le opere di 5 artisti locali o residenti da lungo termine, e l'allestimento cercherà di rispondere ad alcune domande: da dove proviene la "giocabilità" nella pratica artistica contemporanea emiratina, in che modo e dove si promuove il gioco, cosa vuol dire giocare.
